RESERVATION & GUEST POLICIES

Thank you for choosing The Sands Motel for your stay in Traverse City. We are looking forward to your visit. Please note the following reminders and policies:

CANCELLATIONS:

A one night deposit is required for guaranteed reservation of your room on your arrival date. We require a two week notice of cancellation prior to your arrival. Cancellations without proper notice will be charged a one nights deposit.

OFFICE HOURS:

10am - 10pm Monday thru Friday. Saturday and Sunday 7am - 10pm.

Check in is guaranteed by 6:00pm, however please stop by or call us when you get into town to see if your room is ready and we will check you in early. We do close our offices at 10pm each night. Guests who do not check in by 10pm are considered a no-show and will be charged for their reservation without prior notice to sands motel staff.

BREAKFAST:

Our deluxe continental breakfast is served from 7am - 11am Saturdays and Sundays during the summer.

GENERAL POLICIES:

There is ABSOLUTELY no smoking in all of our rooms, which intended as a benefit for our many guests. A $75 cleaning charged will be billed to rooms with evidence of smoking or damage. Smoking is permitted outdoors. Unfortunately we can not accomomdate pets, but we can refer you to a pet hotel. Please call for details.
