The Sands Motel on the Beach
Located on the sandy shores of East Grand Traverse Bay in beautiful Traverse City Michigan, the Sands Motel offers magnificent views with 22 cozy and smoke-free rooms. Guests can choose from single queen/king size bedrooms or two double bed guest rooms.

Family owned and operated, our office is open from 7am to 10pm(seasonal). We have a private beach with water sport rentals. Other amenities include continental breakfast, free in-room local phone service, fridge/micro/coffie, wireless Internet, and a lobby full of family entertainment. Summer rates are $159 and up, and winter rates starting at $39 and up. Come play with us in the sun and sand in Traverse City's best kept secret!
